Petros Chrisochoidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Bαpes BC's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Pappas came free, but Themis Ntalakouras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achilleas Papadopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Chrisochoidis having to interfere. After 24 minutes of play, Vιrga FC's Fondas Gitkos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Themis Ntalakouras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bαpes BC's Themis Ntalakouras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fondas Gitkos in the 33rd minute of play. Themis Ntalakouras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinon Martinakos in the 35th minute of play. Themis Ntalakouras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fondas Gitkos went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute, Fondas Gitkos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vιrga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Themis Ntalakouras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinon Martinakos in the 46th minute of the match. Themis Ntalakouras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zinon Martinakos's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After the first half Vιrga FC were leading 2-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Odysseas Giotos to strike the kick off in the second half. Themis Ntalakouras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute, Fondas Gitkos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vιrga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. Themis Ntalakouras was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Odysseas Giotos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-8 in the 67 minute of play. In the 70th minute Zinon Martinakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themis Ntalakouras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Fondas Gitkos made a precise shot to the right of Themis Ntalakouras. Bαpes BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-9. Themis Ntalakouras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Vιrga FC's Iosif Pappas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Themis Ntalakouras. That made the score 2-12 after 81 minutes of play. After 86 minutes of play, Vιrga FC's Iosif Pappas made it 2-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Themis Ntalakouras was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Bαpes BC's Themis Ntalakouras got control of the ball when Fondas Gitkos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Vιrga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Kalantzidis came free, but Petros Chrisochoidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fondas Gitkos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Themis Ntalakouras made a huge save. In the 95th minute Iosif Pappas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Panos Roubakis's late challenge caught a Vιrga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panos Roubakis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vιrga FC booed when Bαpes BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Roubakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Viktoras Melopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Vιrga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktoras Melopoulos couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Vιrga FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bαpes BC throughout the match.
