The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Leonidas Alexoudis put in a rough tackle. After 12 minutes of play, Leondαqwki's Lambros Louverdis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manolis Loumidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giannis Trachanas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 played minutes Kestrνnis got a freekick which was hit by Thymios Vakouftsis. 26 minutes into the match, Paraskevas Theofanidis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Manolis Loumidis, 2-0. If Christos Stamatis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thymios Vakouftsis hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Anestis Dedes made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Stavros Mouzis immediately put the ball in play. Manolis Loumidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paraskevas Theofanidis in the 36th minute. Argyris Melas hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Leondαqwki's zone, Giannis Trachanas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panos Panagoulias came out of the goal and Giannis Trachanas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Leondαqwki's Giorgos Solomos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Christodoulos Agapoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kestrνnis's supporters rose to their feet, but Christodoulos Agapoulis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panos Panagoulias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Paraskevas Theofanidis made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Kestrνnis's Christodoulos Agapoulis got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 55 played minutes Kestrνnis got a freekick which was hit by Anestis Dedes. Leondαqwki's Paraskevas Theofanidis took a good shot, in the 56th minute, which hit the crossbar above Manolis Loumidis's head, and flew over the goal. Kestrνnis's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Leondαqwki. The supporters of Kestrνnis booed when Leondαqwki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argyris Melas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paraskevas Theofanidis in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manolis Loumidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 61 played minutes Kestrνnis got a freekick which was hit by Orestis Skouras. After a defensive mix-up in Kestrνnis's zone, Paraskevas Theofanidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manolis Loumidis came out of the goal and Paraskevas Theofanidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Kestrνnis booed when Leondαqwki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Solomos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Loukas Klonaridis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Stavros Mouzis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Giannis Trachanas might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Panos Panagoulias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giannis Trachanas ran back to his position shaking his head. Leondαqwki's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
