Christos Nentakis kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in dfs's zone, Sokratis Liolidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kleanthis Stefanis came out of the goal and Sokratis Liolidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alekos Kapogiannopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Charis Karatasos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyriakos Vryzas having to interfere. Nektarios Papaefstathiou hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, dfs's Makis Peponas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Olympiakos fc's Kyriakos Vryzas got control of the ball when Charis Karatasos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, dfs's Charis Karatasos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kyriakos Vryzas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 27th minute, Charis Karatasos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 33 minutes into the match, Olympiakos fc's goalkeeper Kyriakos Vryzas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charis Karatasos. Kleanthis Stefanis came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympiakos fc's Sokratis Liolidis. But to his dismay, Sokratis Liolidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nasos Nasiakos's late challenge caught a Olympiakos fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nasos Nasiakos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, dfs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasos Nasiakos to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Olympiakos fc got a freekick which was hit by Nektarios Papaefstathiou. dfs's Kleanthis Stefanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nektarios Papaefstathiou in the 48th minute of play.

In the 70th minute Makis Peponas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyriakos Vryzas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Akis Pefanis notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Olympiakos fc's Kyriakos Vryzas. Kyriakos Vryzas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olympiakos fc's Sokratis Liolidis got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Olympiakos fc booed when dfs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Mitrakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Sokratis Liolidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kleanthis Stefanis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a rather tough play, Olympiakos fc's Daniil Germanos got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Olympiakos fc's Kyriakos Vryzas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Karagiozis in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
