Olympiakos fc's Kyriakos Vryzas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamatis Tzanetoulakos in the 13th minute of play. Panos Bougatsas succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Nikos Paramithis charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikos Paramithis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sokratis Liolidis was the one to do the kick off.
