Sokratis Liolidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kostas Tsouganatos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nektarios Papaefstathiou in the 17th minute. If Sokratis Liolidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Giannis Soufridis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyriakos Vryzas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Olympiakos fc's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandros Ntaikos came free, but Kyriakos Vryzas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Olympiakos fc booed when Kentrikσn BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loukianos Klidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nektarios Papaefstathiou scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kostas Tsouganatos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Babbis Vlontakis charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Babbis Vlontakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kentrikσn BC booed when Olympiakos fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babbis Vlontakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Kentrikσn BC's goalkeeper Kostas Tsouganatos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paris Matsoukelis. After a rather tough play, Olympiakos fc's Ntinos Krassas got a free kick in the 40th minute. Paris Matsoukelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Tsouganatos having to interfere.

The wind increased when Sokratis Liolidis made the kick off in the second half. Olympiakos fc's Kyriakos Vryzas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Olympiakos fc from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the game, Nektarios Papaefstathiou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kostas Tsouganatos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paris Matsoukelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Tsouganatos having to interfere. Olympiakos fc's Sokratis Liolidis got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paris Matsoukelis struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Kostas Tsouganatos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympiakos fc. Kostas Tsouganatos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nektarios Papaefstathiou went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Paris Matsoukelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paris Matsoukelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Daniil Germanos came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Olympiakos fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniil Germanos couldn't finish the play. Kentrikσn BC's Kostas Tsouganatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paris Matsoukelis in the 75th minute of play. Sokratis Liolidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kostas Tsouganatos came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Olympiakos fc's Nektarios Papaefstathiou. But to his dismay, Nektarios Papaefstathiou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Loukianos Klidis fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kentrikσn BC's protests and gave Loukianos Klidis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kentrikσn BC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Loukianos Klidis hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ntinos Krassas during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. There was no doubt that Olympiakos fc were the better team. Olympiakos fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
