Spectators: 7980 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pol Pogba took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ingmar Haljasorg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anestis Tsitouras, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes Alιxandros got a freekick which was hit by Fanis Kerkopoulos. 9 minutes into the game, Dugald Carbery was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alιxandros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gσnthi the free kick. In the 8th minute, one of Alιxandros:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alιxandros. The referee gave Gσnthi a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anestis Tsitouras, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alιxandros's Ingmar Haljasorg. 0-1. In the 14th minute, Vaggelis Maravas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Borys Oryniak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Minas Pandrakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Gσnthi's Minas Pandrakis got control of the ball when Borys Oryniak tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juvenal Bittencourt got free with Minas Pandrakis in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pol Pogba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Minas Pandrakis having to interfere. The supporters of Alιxandros booed when Gσnthi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aris Giannos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Periklis Telidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingmar Haljasorg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Roubesis in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Alιxandros getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Pol Pogba hit a great ball. When Anestis Tsitouras came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Gσnthi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anestis Tsitouras couldn't finish the play. Alιxandros's Ingmar Haljasorg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Tsitouras in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anestis Tsitouras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vaggelis Maravas's late challenge caught a Alιxandros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vaggelis Maravas helped the player get up and apologised. Vaggelis Maravas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Gσnthi's goal looked a bit too open when Pol Pogba came free, but Minas Pandrakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Juvenal Bittencourt made a precise shot to the right of Minas Pandrakis. Gσnthi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Aggelos Kazoleas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borys Oryniak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Minas Pandrakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Pol Pogba struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Minas Pandrakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alιxandros. If Juvenal Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ingmar Haljasorg made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Charis Roubesis sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Pol Pogba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minas Pandrakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gσnthi's Anestis Tsitouras got a free kick in the 79th minute. 85 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Gσnthi's Charis Roubesis fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Minas Pandrakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pol Pogba in the 92nd minute of the match. Aggelos Kazoleas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ingmar Haljasorg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Alιxandros were the better team. Alιxandros's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
