Iwan Januszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loukas Brizolakis in the 88th minute of play. Green Horses's Loukas Brizolakis managed to work through Athletic Athens 2007 FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Loukas Brizolakis dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Athletic Athens 2007 FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Loukas Brizolakis 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-8. After having played for 94 minutes, Vaios Petridis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Horses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaios Petridis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Green Horses's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
