The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alekos Skiadas hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giorgos Christodoulou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Aktoras getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Horea Macri hit a great ball. Giorgos Christodoulou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lakis Straggas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Sotiris Birbas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thodoris Babasidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thodoris Babasidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sotiris Birbas having to make a save. When Thodoris Babasidis came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Glyfada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thodoris Babasidis couldn't finish the play. Álmos Tóth's late challenge caught a Glyfada FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Álmos Tóth helped the player get up and apologised. Álmos Tóth hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Thodoris Babasidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glyfada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thodoris Babasidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sotiris Birbas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Álmos Tóth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Giorgos Christodoulou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thodoris Babasidis kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd match minute, Glyfada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Koskinas to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Aktoras were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the game, Álmos Tóth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Giorgos Christodoulou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Glyfada FC's zone, Álmos Tóth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Christodoulou came out of the goal and Álmos Tóth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Aktoras's Horea Macri got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes, Glyfada FC's Giorgos Koskinas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sotiris Birbas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glyfada FC reached it. A collision led to Glyfada FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Panagiotis Loukanidis hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Aktoras's Álmos Tóth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giorgos Christodoulou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Chepe in the 88th minute of play forced Glyfada FC's goalkeeper Giorgos Christodoulou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arnulfo Chepe fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aktoras's protests and gave Arnulfo Chepe a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Aktoras's Arnulfo Chepe got a free kick in the 90th minute. Panagiotis Loukanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle went the supporters of Aktoras were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Glyfada FC side.
