Everett Kouromichelakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kostas Tsoulkas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Everett Kouromichelakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ken Troxler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ναρεντίνοι's Diogenis Vardinogiannis got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute 余凌思 managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Babbis Nestoriadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Troxler having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Marios Tzanetis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Iraklis Kazantzakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ναρεντίνοι's supporters rose to their feet, but Iraklis Kazantzakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ken Troxler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ναρεντίνοι booed when PANATHINAIKOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignatios Tsatsos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everett Kouromichelakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ken Troxler having to make a save. When Everett Kouromichelakis came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ναρεντίνοι fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everett Kouromichelakis couldn't finish the play. When Ναρεντίνοι's Everett Kouromichelakis in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was Everett Kouromichelakis who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PANATHINAIKOS's goalie and right to Babbis Nestoriadis. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PANATHINAIKOS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everett Kouromichelakis in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ken Troxler saved PANATHINAIKOS from getting behind. After a rather tough play, PANATHINAIKOS's Theocharis Kottikas got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Ναρεντίνοι were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The Ναρεντίνοι fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Ναρεντίνοι's Everett Kouromichelakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Daniil Grigoriou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Renos Zikos fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PANATHINAIKOS's protests and gave Renos Zikos a yellow card for diving instead. Renos Zikos hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Ναρεντίνοι's Everett Kouromichelakis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ken Troxler. Ken Troxler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ναρεντίνοι fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Daniil Grigoriou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Troxler having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ntinos Giannakopoulos in the 80th minute of play forced Ναρεντίνοι's goalkeeper Gerasimos Lazanas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kostas Tsoulkas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ken Troxler having to interfere. Gerasimos Lazanas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ntinos Giannakopoulos in the 88th minute of play. Gerasimos Lazanas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ntinos Giannakopoulos in the 90th minute of the match. Kostas Tsoulkas kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 2-3 became the score in the 92nd minute when Ntinos Giannakopoulos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Marios Tzanetis's late challenge caught a Ναρεντίνοι's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marios Tzanetis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to PANATHINAIKOS getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Marios Tzanetis hit a great ball. Daniil Grigoriou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Ken Troxler made a huge save. When the match was over Ναρεντίνοι could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PANATHINAIKOS throughout the match.
