Themos Kostikos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Giannis Tsirimokos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grigoris Efthimiou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Avraam Konstantinidis charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Avraam Konstantinidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Filippos Makridakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giannis Tsirimokos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themos Kostikos in the 21st minute of the match. Filippos Makridakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Tsirimokos having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's Filippos Makridakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giannis Tsirimokos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Aris Fc Kavala booed when ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themos Kostikos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renos Fotakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Aimilios Mirtsos made a huge save. If Avraam Konstantinidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Themos Kostikos in the 43rd minute of play forced Aris Fc Kavala's goalkeeper Giannis Tsirimokos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Menios Loukas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aimilios Mirtsos. The goal made the score 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's Dimos Chatzis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Giannis Tsirimokos but with some difficulty. After 54 minutes of play, Aris Fc Kavala's Panos Papadas made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aimilios Mirtsos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Giannis Tsirimokos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filippos Makridakis in the 58th minute of the match. Aimilios Mirtsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renos Fotakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aimilios Mirtsos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avraam Konstantinidis in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Menios Loukas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aris Fc Kavala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Themos Kostikos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Giannis Tsirimokos made a huge save. When Michalis Labriakos came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michalis Labriakos couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the game, Themos Kostikos lined in a short shot 3-2 behind a frustrated Giannis Tsirimokos. Panos Papadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Renos Fotakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aris Fc Kavala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Aris Fc Kavala's Renos Fotakis got a free kick in the 97th minute.
