Flavien Pirat struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Aimilios Mirtsos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Límnos BC. Aimilios Mirtsos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Manciulescu went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 10 played minutes ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ got a freekick which was hit by Dimos Chatzis. Aimilios Mirtsos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikolas Topalidis in the 12th minute of the match. Manolis Konstantinou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Themos Kostikos in the 15th minute. Cristian Manciulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Aimilios Mirtsos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Nikolas Topalidis made a precise shot to the right of Aimilios Mirtsos. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Flavien Pirat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aimilios Mirtsos. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavien Pirat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Filippos Makridakis hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Votsis notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's Aimilios Mirtsos. Aimilios Mirtsos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aimilios Mirtsos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikolas Topalidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Flavien Pirat sped through ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aimilios Mirtsos. Vaggelis Votsis took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aimilios Mirtsos. Aimilios Mirtsos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. If Benedykt Topolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Themos Kostikos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Límnos BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Manciulescu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavien Pirat got free with Aimilios Mirtsos in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vaggelis Votsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Límnos BC's Flavien Pirat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aimilios Mirtsos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Aimilios Mirtsos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's Aimilios Mirtsos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Votsis in the 69th minute of play. Cristian Manciulescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aimilios Mirtsos came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Manciulescu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 70th minute. In the 76th play minute Cristian Manciulescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aimilios Mirtsos. 0-11. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Votsis in the 80th minute of play forced ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's goalkeeper Aimilios Mirtsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aimilios Mirtsos made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Flavien Pirat sent off a good shot on target. Límnos BC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cristian Manciulescu took the corner. Notis Karakasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Makis Tavanopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Límnos BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Makis Tavanopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Votsis in the 91st minute of play forced ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's goalkeeper Aimilios Mirtsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aimilios Mirtsos was a little too slow when Vaggelis Votsis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-12. The supporters of Límnos BC booed when ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleftherios Pantos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Límnos BC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
