Spectators: 8153 (Terracing: 6116, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 162) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Flavien Pirat started the match with the kick off. If Makis Tavanopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tharroϊnia FC's Marios Peppes got a free kick in the 4th minute. Manolis Konstantinou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eutichios Vertsotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Tharroϊnia FC's Aggelos Lyberopoulos got control of the ball when Nikolas Topalidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Flavien Pirat notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tharroϊnia FC's Aggelos Lyberopoulos. Aggelos Lyberopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Vaggelis Votsis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aggelos Lyberopoulos. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. The supporters of Tharroϊnia FC booed when Límnos BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavien Pirat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Daniil Theofilou made a precise shot to the right of Manolis Konstantinou. Límnos BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Daniil Theofilou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tharroϊnia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniil Theofilou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolis Konstantinou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aggelos Lyberopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nikolas Topalidis went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Tharroϊnia FC's Aggelos Lyberopoulos got control of the ball when Nikolas Topalidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nikolas Topalidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Votsis in the 40th minute of play forced Tharroϊnia FC's goalkeeper Aggelos Lyberopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniil Theofilou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Notis Karakasis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Límnos BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tharroϊnia FC the free kick. After 44 played minutes Límnos BC got a freekick which was hit by Notis Karakasis. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the match, Nikolas Topalidis notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Tharroϊnia FC's Aggelos Lyberopoulos. Aggelos Lyberopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, Límnos BC's Nikolas Topalidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aggelos Lyberopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute Flavien Pirat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aggelos Lyberopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aggelos Lyberopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikolas Topalidis in the 61st minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Nikolas Topalidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Límnos BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After having played for 68 minutes, Cristian Manciulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Límnos BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Manciulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Ovidio Eutropio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute, Vaggelis Votsis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aggelos Lyberopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavien Pirat in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aggelos Lyberopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 minutes of play, Límnos BC's Flavien Pirat made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aggelos Lyberopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aggelos Lyberopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Votsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, Flavien Pirat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
