Spectators: 7998 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) Takis Xidous started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Christos Chatzidakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takis Xidous in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takis Xidous in the 7th minute of play forced Nea Smirni's goalkeeper Christos Chatzidakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christos Chatzidakis was a little too slow when Takis Xidous got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. Miltos Ziogas's late challenge caught a ΠΑΝΘΡΑΚΙΚ⚽Σ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miltos Ziogas helped the player get up and apologised. Christos Chatzidakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takis Xidous, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Nea Smirni getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Nikitas Papalexis hit a great ball. Menelaos Siradakis made in the 15th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Giorgos Stravogiannos. Panagiotis Tsiantakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Ziogas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Takis Xidous managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΠΑΝΘΡΑΚΙΚ⚽Σ's supporters rose to their feet, but Takis Xidous was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christos Chatzidakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christos Chatzidakis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Takis Xidous showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. The supporters of ΠΑΝΘΡΑΚΙΚ⚽Σ booed when Nea Smirni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markos Zouganelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christos Chatzidakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanos Papadakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Nikitas Papalexis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Panagiotis Tsiantakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fanis Kreziadis during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fanis Kreziadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Christos Chatzidakis made a huge save. Vaggelis Nebegleras got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Menelaos Siradakis. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miltos Ziogas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Takis Xidous notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Nea Smirni's Christos Chatzidakis. Christos Chatzidakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nontas Panagiotou hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Giorgos Peristeropoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giorgos Peristeropoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes ΠΑΝΘΡΑΚΙΚ⚽Σ got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Peristeropoulos. After a rather tough play, Nea Smirni's Makis Martinakos got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takis Xidous in the 63rd minute of play forced Nea Smirni's goalkeeper Christos Chatzidakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christos Chatzidakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takis Xidous in the 64th minute of the match. Miltos Ziogas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Nea Smirni defense, Takis Xidous kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christos Chatzidakis. The Nea Smirni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christos Chatzidakis should have stopped the shot. Fanis Kreziadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Christos Chatzidakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the ΠΑΝΘΡΑΚΙΚ⚽Σ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
