Spectators: 7948 (Terracing: 5962, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Panos Papadas started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Aris Fc Kavala's Panos Papadas got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Chrisostomos Papoutsiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nikhσrion BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chrisostomos Papoutsiadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stamatis Serelis scored 1-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giannis Tsirimokos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Panos Papadas kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Giannis Tsirimokos came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Nikhσrion BC's Stamatis Serelis. But to his dismay, Stamatis Serelis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 22 minutes into the game, Stamatis Serelis lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Giannis Tsirimokos. After 26 minutes of play, Nikhσrion BC's Stamatis Serelis made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giannis Tsirimokos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 played minutes Nikhσrion BC got a freekick which was hit by Thanos Pantazis. 40 minutes into the match, Nikhσrion BC's goal looked a bit too open when Menios Loukas came free, but Stratos Moraitopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Thanos Pantazis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes Aris Fc Kavala got a freekick which was hit by Menios Loukas. Panos Papadas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Stratos Moraitopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panos Papadas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stamatis Serelis to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanos Pantazis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Giannis Tsirimokos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Stamatis Serelis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giannis Tsirimokos. Aris Fc Kavala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stamatis Serelis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Stratos Moraitopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Papadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikhσrion BC's Thanos Pantazis got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stamatis Serelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Giannis Tsirimokos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Babbis Boukouvalas's late challenge caught a Nikhσrion BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Babbis Boukouvalas helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Aris Fc Kavala got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Boukouvalas. Giannis Tsirimokos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stamatis Serelis went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute, Thanos Pantazis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Nikhσrion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chrisostomos Papoutsiadis to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Menios Loukas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stratos Moraitopoulos skillfully saved the ball. In the 87th minute Panos Papadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Moraitopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chrisostomos Papoutsiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes, Aris Fc Kavala's Makis Mendrinos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stratos Moraitopoulos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aris Fc Kavala reached it. Stratos Moraitopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panos Papadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valerios Abaris was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, one of Nikhσrion BC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nikhσrion BC. The goalkeeper, Stratos Moraitopoulos, was totally fooled by Aris Fc Kavala's Makis Mendrinos, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. There was no doubt that Nikhσrion BC were the better team. Nikhσrion BC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
