Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Takis Kardaris got the match started through his kick off. Alketas Bourouselos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takis Kardaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akis Siatzis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Akis Siatzis charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akis Siatzis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Akis Siatzis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Dimitris Telatos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Metaxádhes BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sαnga BC the free kick. In the 11th minute, Dimitris Telatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omiros Tsartsikidis in the 13th minute of play forced Metaxádhes BC's goalkeeper Marios Martinopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th match minute, Metaxádhes BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takis Kardaris to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Metaxádhes BC's Nikos Niniadis got a free kick in the 19th minute. Ilias Manias kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Sαnga BC's Alketas Bourouselos got control of the ball when Charilaos Massoutis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alketas Bourouselos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takis Kardaris in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Akis Siatzis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alketas Bourouselos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alketas Bourouselos was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Takis Kardaris capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Takis Kardaris really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omiros Tsartsikidis to make the kick off. When Kostas Leontakos fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Metaxádhes BC's protests and gave Kostas Leontakos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Kostas Leontakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takis Kardaris in the 87th minute of play forced Sαnga BC's goalkeeper Alketas Bourouselos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes Sαnga BC got a freekick which was hit by Nikolas Protopapadakis. When Akis Siatzis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. After 97 played minutes Metaxádhes BC got a freekick which was hit by Akis Siatzis. There was no doubt that Metaxádhes BC were the better team. Metaxádhes BC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
