After 14 played minutes Panetolikos PC got a freekick which was hit by Alkis Seletopoulos. 16 minutes into the game, Nikolas Protopapadakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Minas Kabantais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Minas Kabantais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fanis Belos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Panetolikos PC defense, Fanis Belos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Minas Kabantais. The Panetolikos PC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Minas Kabantais should have stopped the shot. Minas Kabantais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fanis Belos in the 41st minute of the match. Fanis Belos took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Minas Kabantais. Minas Kabantais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After the first half Sαnga BC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fanis Belos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fanis Belos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Minas Kabantais made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Ilias Manias sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Sαnga BC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Alekos Katsiabis hit a great ball. Alkis Seletopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alketas Bourouselos having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Chatziantoniou Papachristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Minas Kabantais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fanis Belos's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute Fanis Belos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minas Kabantais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Fanis Belos took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Minas Kabantais to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Panetolikos PC's Andreas Mirtsos got a free kick in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilias Manias got free with Minas Kabantais in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Belos in the 95th minute of play forced Panetolikos PC's goalkeeper Minas Kabantais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Sαnga BC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Panetolikos PC throughout the match.
