Antonis Tsobanos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eutichios Manolas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Metaxádhes BC's Marios Martinopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adamantios Dimatos in the 38th minute of play. Eutichios Manolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akis Siatzis in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charilaos Massoutis in the 44th minute of play forced Coldplayers M.D.V. Patras's goalkeeper Eutichios Manolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
