Valdomiro Arósio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Marios Martinopoulos 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Valdomiro Arósio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panathinaikos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Arotza Pozo struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Marios Martinopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panathinaikos. Valdomiro Arósio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Marios Martinopoulos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 12th match minute, Metaxádhes BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akis Siatzis to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Panathinaikos were awarded a corner. Efthimis Zanidis went to the cornerflag to take it. Efthimis Zanidis made a great header on Panathinaikos's corner, it was just that Metaxádhes BC's Marios Martinopoulos managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 16th play minute Arotza Pozo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marios Martinopoulos. 3-0. Valdomiro Arósio struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Marios Martinopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panathinaikos. Marios Martinopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charis Leontiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Panathinaikos's Charis Leontiou in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Metaxádhes BC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 22nd minute, Charis Leontiou made a precise shot to the right of Marios Martinopoulos. Metaxádhes BC's Marios Martinopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charis Leontiou in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Metaxádhes BC's goal looked a bit too open when Charis Leontiou came free, but Marios Martinopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermis Papadopetrakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marios Martinopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Valdomiro Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Panathinaikos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdomiro Arósio couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arotza Pozo got free with Marios Martinopoulos in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Metaxádhes BC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Arósio came free, but Marios Martinopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Metaxádhes BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonis Tsobanos to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Panathinaikos's Efthimis Zanidis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Takis Kardaris made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Panathinaikos's Efthimis Zanidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marios Martinopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After some careless play in the Metaxádhes BC defense, Charis Leontiou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marios Martinopoulos. The Metaxádhes BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marios Martinopoulos should have stopped the shot. 58 minutes into the game, Arotza Pozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Marios Martinopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marios Martinopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Arósio in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Metaxádhes BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanouil Papafotakos to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Valdomiro Arósio put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marios Martinopoulos. Marios Martinopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charis Leontiou in the 69th minute of play. Marios Martinopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charis Leontiou in the 70th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Efthimis Zanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marios Martinopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdomiro Arósio scored 11-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marios Martinopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marios Martinopoulos came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Panathinaikos's Charis Leontiou. But to his dismay, Charis Leontiou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Marios Martinopoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efthimis Zanidis went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute Valdomiro Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marios Martinopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
