Roberto Fagildo scored 0-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Avraam Pedoulakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, RIO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fondas Salevris came free, but Avraam Pedoulakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Akis Koukoulekis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruninho Falcão was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Ignatios Meletis notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Kalymnos F.C.'s Bruninho Falcão. After the first half Kalymnos F.C. were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Akis Koukoulekis made the kick off in the second half. Ignatios Meletis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kalymnos F.C.'s Bruninho Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignatios Meletis in the 54th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Ignatios Meletis notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Kalymnos F.C.'s Bruninho Falcão. In the 95th minute, Kalymnos F.C.'s Pavlos Zachariadis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Avraam Pedoulakis. Avraam Pedoulakis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. The RIO FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kalymnos F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
