In the 13th minute Nikos Karagiotakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Trichas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Louis Karamitros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. Βύζας Μεγάρων's Daniil Kalaintzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Karamitros in the 29th minute of play. Nikos Karagiotakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimitris Trichas having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Karagiotakis in the 41st minute of play forced Pallesviakos's goalkeeper Dimitris Trichas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniil Kalaintzidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis Karamitros in the 45th minute of play. The Pallesviakos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Βύζας Μεγάρων were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apostolikas Soumedakis to make the kick off. Βύζας Μεγάρων's Apostolikas Soumedakis got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Apostolikas Soumedakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dimitris Trichas. That made the score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. After 71 played minutes Βύζας Μεγάρων got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Karagiotakis. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aggelos Sismanidis during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pallesviakos's Aggelos Sismanidis got a free kick in the 75th minute. Βύζας Μεγάρων's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
