Spectators: 8051 (Terracing: 6039, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valentinos Moustakidis started the match with the kick off. Dimitris Karoulias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Avraam Pedoulakis made a huge save. Edward Domala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignatios Meletis, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Edward Domala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignatios Meletis in the 10th minute of the match. D-Force's Valentinos Moustakidis got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charalambos Kiprakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, D-Force's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Koukoulekis came free, but Edward Domala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes D-Force got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Karoulias. Edward Domala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akis Koukoulekis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of D-Force booed when RIO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stathis Kabolis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignatios Meletis's late challenge caught a D-Force's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignatios Meletis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, RIO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignatios Meletis to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, D-Force's Dimitris Karoulias got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Avraam Pedoulakis came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by D-Force's Valentinos Moustakidis. But to his dismay, Valentinos Moustakidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Akis Koukoulekis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Valentinos Moustakidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Domala was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ignatios Meletis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. A collision led to RIO FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Sokratis Tsagarakis hit a great ball. D-Force's Edward Domala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akis Koukoulekis in the 65th minute of play. When Aggelos Nikodimos fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored D-Force's protests and gave Aggelos Nikodimos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, D-Force was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aggelos Nikodimos to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Valentinos Moustakidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Pedoulakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitris Korobos's late challenge caught a D-Force's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitris Korobos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Stathis Kabolis threw the ball into play from the sideline. D-Force's Dimitris Karoulias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 73rdth minute of the game Valentinos Moustakidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RIO FC's Avraam Pedoulakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Filippos Mimidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RIO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filippos Mimidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stathis Kabolis hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Grigoris Vourousis kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When Valentinos Moustakidis came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the D-Force fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentinos Moustakidis couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, D-Force's Edward Domala got control of the ball when Ignatios Meletis tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ignatios Meletis came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the RIO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignatios Meletis couldn't finish the play. Dimitris Korobos struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Edward Domala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIO FC. Aggelos Nikodimos hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The RIO FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RIO FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
