Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubens Donato in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fanis Kalofolias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rubens Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fanis Kalofolias having to interfere. Fanis Kalofolias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Donato in the 6th minute of play. Fondas Salevris had several of the Khersovon BC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Fanis Kalofolias as he didn't even see the shot coming. 14 minutes into the match, Rubens Donato had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fanis Kalofolias. Khersovon BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rubens Donato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Khersovon BC's Fanis Kalofolias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Khersovon BC from getting a goal against them. After 20 minutes, Nikitas Tsounidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Khersovon BC and the Kalymnos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nikitas Tsounidis hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Khersovon BC's Fanis Kalofolias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Khersovon BC from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the game, Kalymnos F.C.'s Fondas Salevris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fanis Kalofolias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Fanis Kalofolias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soulis Chatzoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fanis Kalofolias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Donato in the 37th minute of play. Kalymnos F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michalis Livas in the 40th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubens Donato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fanis Kalofolias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kyriakos Tsonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bruninho Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubens Donato took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fanis Kalofolias. Fanis Kalofolias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Fanis Kalofolias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Soulis Chatzoulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute, Rubens Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kalymnos F.C.'s Pavlos Zachariadis was substituted for Fondas Salevris. Rubens Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Fanis Kalofolias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavlos Zachariadis in the 83rd minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Rubens Donato in the 92nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 94th minute, Rubens Donato made a precise shot to the right of Fanis Kalofolias. Khersovon BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0.
