In the 19thth minute of the game Marios Likouris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EVOSMOS FC's Alexandros Igoumenakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tolek Turek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giorgos Iasonidis went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Simos Sobolos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandros Igoumenakis having to interfere. Tolek Turek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fanis Kanelidis in the 25th minute of play. If Marios Likouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Fanis Kanelidis fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EVOSMOS FC's protests and gave Fanis Kanelidis a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes EVOSMOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Fanis Kanelidis. The supporters of AO BEKIANIKA booed when EVOSMOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaggelis Roubanis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind EVOSMOS FC's goalkeeper Alexandros Igoumenakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Marios Likouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaggelis Roubanis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Vaggelis Roubanis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EVOSMOS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Simos Sobolos might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandros Igoumenakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simos Sobolos ran back to his position shaking his head. Marios Likouris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tolek Turek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Roubanis in the 61st minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the game, AO BEKIANIKA's Marios Likouris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandros Igoumenakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Alexandros Igoumenakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Likouris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, EVOSMOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marios Likouris came free, but Alexandros Igoumenakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Marios Likouris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandros Igoumenakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. EVOSMOS FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
