Spectators: 6831 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 0) Anemothyella A.C.P.'s Kyriakos Kakomiroglou started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anemothyella A.C.P.'s Simos Ikonomou got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyriakos Kakomiroglou in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michalis Karamichalos saved Psilométopo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Psilométopo's Charis Tsouganatos got a free kick in the 14th minute. Kostas Saliarelis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argyris Kokkinopoulos in the 18th minute. The supporters of Anemothyella A.C.P. booed when Psilométopo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miltos Georgiadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Kyriakos Kakomiroglou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Psilométopo's Michalis Karamichalos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Simos Ikonomou notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Psilométopo's Michalis Karamichalos. Michalis Karamichalos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the match, Psilométopo's goal looked a bit too open when Kyriakos Kakomiroglou came free, but Michalis Karamichalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Psilométopo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Kountouratzis to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyriakos Kakomiroglou in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michalis Karamichalos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kyriakos Kakomiroglou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michalis Karamichalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasios Leontakis during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Psilométopo's Anastasios Leontakis got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Kyriakos Kakomiroglou came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Anemothyella A.C.P. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyriakos Kakomiroglou couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charis Tsouganatos to make the kick off. Iraklis Pantelakis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Psilométopo's goal looked a bit too open when Simos Ikonomou came free, but Michalis Karamichalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simos Ikonomou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charalambos Theodorakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Karamichalos having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Psilométopo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantinos Konstantaras to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Anemothyella A.C.P.'s goal looked a bit too open when Charis Tsouganatos came free, but Kostas Saliarelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michalis Karamichalos came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Anemothyella A.C.P.'s Kyriakos Kakomiroglou. But to his dismay, Kyriakos Kakomiroglou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 86th minute Argyris Kokkinopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Saliarelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anemothyella A.C.P.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
