Asteras BC's Sofoklis Batiropoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Asteras BC from getting a goal against them. Stavros Stoltidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofoklis Batiropoulos having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Iordanis Karaindros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, KeRaUnOs's Stavros Tatsis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sofoklis Batiropoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iordanis Karaindros kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Stavros Tatsis scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sofoklis Batiropoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stavros Tatsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Asteras BC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sotiris Tsirigakis hit a great ball. If Stavros Stoltidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anestis Tsirogiannis kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as KeRaUnOs's Stavros Tatsis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sofoklis Batiropoulos. That made the score 3-0 after 43 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Thanasis Peras made the kick off in the second half. Thanasis Peras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Tasos Ntaltos made a huge save. After 56 played minutes KeRaUnOs got a freekick which was hit by Diogenis Karabelopoulos. Sofoklis Batiropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stavros Tatsis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Sotiris Tsirigakis charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sotiris Tsirigakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Asteras BC got a freekick which was hit by Sotiris Tsirigakis. When Stavros Tatsis came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the KeRaUnOs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stavros Tatsis couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Asteras BC's goal looked a bit too open when Stavros Tatsis came free, but Sofoklis Batiropoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nikos Kanakaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tasos Ntaltos having to interfere. The supporters of Asteras BC booed when KeRaUnOs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Désiré Bourgault didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofoklis Batiropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogenis Karabelopoulos in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stavros Tatsis in the 77th minute of play forced Asteras BC's goalkeeper Sofoklis Batiropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Asteras BC's goalkeeper Sofoklis Batiropoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stavros Tatsis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofoklis Batiropoulos having to interfere. After 87 minutes of play, KeRaUnOs's Stavros Tatsis made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sofoklis Batiropoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the game, Stavros Tatsis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Sofoklis Batiropoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KeRaUnOs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
