Sofoklis Batiropoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simos Ikonomou's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Viktoras Kabouras was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sofoklis Batiropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyriakos Kakomiroglou in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Anemothyella A.C.P.'s goal looked a bit too open when Viktoras Kabouras came free, but Kostas Saliarelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anemothyella A.C.P.'s Kyriakos Kakomiroglou got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vaggelis Verginas kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Simos Ikonomou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Asteras BC got a freekick which was hit by Sotiris Tsirigakis. Sofoklis Batiropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Kakomiroglou in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyriakos Kakomiroglou in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sofoklis Batiropoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kyriakos Kakomiroglou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sofoklis Batiropoulos having to make a save. 46 minutes into the match, Anemothyella A.C.P.'s Kyriakos Kakomiroglou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sofoklis Batiropoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyriakos Kakomiroglou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anemothyella A.C.P.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Errikos Perdikas in the 53rd minute. The corner led Anemothyella A.C.P.'s Errikos Perdikas to fire away a dangerous shot which Sofoklis Batiropoulos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 54th minute Viktoras Kabouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Saliarelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sofoklis Batiropoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kyriakos Kakomiroglou in the 59th minute. Anemothyella A.C.P.'s Kostas Saliarelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktoras Kabouras in the 63rd minute of play. Kyriakos Kakomiroglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Sofoklis Batiropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sofoklis Batiropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyriakos Kakomiroglou in the 74th minute of the match. Kyriakos Kakomiroglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofoklis Batiropoulos having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simos Ikonomou during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Anemothyella A.C.P. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Simos Ikonomou hit a great ball. Viktoras Kabouras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kostas Saliarelis having to make a save. If Kyriakos Kakomiroglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Despite being the better team, Anemothyella A.C.P. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
