After 16 minutes, Kleanthis Tsakanikas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTERISTAS and the Ανατολική Αλητεία players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kleanthis Tsakanikas kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Koulis Moraitidis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Achilleas Aggelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Koulis Moraitidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tilemachos Iakovakis in the 100th minute of play forced Ανατολική Αλητεία's goalkeeper Ntinos Saloufopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ανατολική Αλητεία had won after a very even match.
