Christoforos Labellis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Karagiotakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Aris Skilas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GREEK ARMY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 16 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Spyros Paterakis. Sphinari's Christoforos Labellis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lambis Kazantzakoglou in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Grigoris Karagiotakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. GREEK ARMY's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigoris Karagiotakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoforos Labellis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grigoris Karagiotakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniil Charisteas hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vrasidas Drambas to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Sphinari got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Katsikogiannis. After 37 minutes of play, GREEK ARMY's Grigoris Karagiotakis made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoforos Labellis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christoforos Labellis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aris Skilas went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score.

Lambis Kazantzakoglou scored 0-5 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christoforos Labellis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 53 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Lambis Kazantzakoglou. Lambis Kazantzakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoforos Labellis having to interfere. Sphinari's Christoforos Labellis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lambis Kazantzakoglou in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lambis Kazantzakoglou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoforos Labellis was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Sphinari's Christoforos Labellis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Sphinari from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sphinari booed when GREEK ARMY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omiros Rodanakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. GREEK ARMY's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
