Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alkis Skandalidis got the match started through his kick off. Kostas Vourkos kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Gate13's Eutichios Botilias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christoforos Labellis. Christoforos Labellis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Andreas Tsebelis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sphinari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gate13 the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Sphinari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Tsebelis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achilleas Tsopelas in the 14th minute of play forced Sphinari's goalkeeper Christoforos Labellis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Alkis Skandalidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Gate13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eutichios Botilias to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Kostas Vourkos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Babbis Kariotakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 31st minute, Ilias Veziropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Kostas Vourkos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gate13's Babbis Kariotakis didn't even have to move. Alkis Skandalidis scored 1-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Babbis Kariotakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the game, Sphinari's Daniil Charisteas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Babbis Kariotakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marinos Kandarakis was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Gate13 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achilleas Tsopelas to maneuver through the defense. Achilleas Tsopelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sphinari's Christoforos Labellis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilleas Tsopelas in the 55th minute of play. Kostas Vourkos lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Sphinari:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gate13:s goal. Sphinari:s Christoforos Labellis showed great skill when he stopped Achilleas Tsopelas:s penalty. 58 minutes into the match, Achilleas Tsopelas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoforos Labellis. Sphinari's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Achilleas Tsopelas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Babbis Kariotakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alkis Skandalidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Eutichios Botilias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Marinos Kandarakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christoforos Labellis was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. If Iakovos Grigorakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veniamin Dokos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Babbis Kariotakis made a huge save. After 72 played minutes Gate13 got a freekick which was hit by Eutichios Botilias. In the 76th minute, Veniamin Dokos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 78 in the game by Alkis Skandalidis from a close distance when the talented Babbis Kariotakis managed to make a qualified save. Gate13's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikitas Diamantidis during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nikitas Diamantidis kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Veniamin Dokos might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Babbis Kariotakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Veniamin Dokos ran back to his position shaking his head. Alkis Skandalidis in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Babbis Kariotakis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 85 minutes into the match, Gate13's goalkeeper Babbis Kariotakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alkis Skandalidis. Veniamin Dokos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Babbis Kariotakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alkis Skandalidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Gate13 got a freekick which was hit by Achilleas Tsopelas. Petros Alexopoulos's late challenge caught a Sphinari's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petros Alexopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gate13's Petros Alexopoulos got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Gate13's goalkeeper Babbis Kariotakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Veniamin Dokos. Daniil Charisteas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Babbis Kariotakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Sphinari failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
