After 11 minutes, Giannis Tachtsidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akinjalν BC and the Tusin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Akinjalν BC got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Tachtsidis. In the 14th minute, Renos Pefanis made a precise shot to the right of Makis Sagriotis. Tusin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nasos Sklavenitis in the 18th minute of play forced Tusin's goalkeeper Makis Sagriotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fivos Thomas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nontas Kareklas in the 20th minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Menios Giannopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fivos Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nontas Kareklas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zinon Samiamidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fivos Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Akinjalν BC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Pavlos Baskakis hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Iraklis Alexiadis in the 62nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Fivos Thomas's left hand side. In the 65thth minute of the game Thanos Sioulas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tusin's Makis Sagriotis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute, Thanos Sioulas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nasos Sklavenitiss short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Makis Sagriotis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 75 minutes into the game, Akinjalν BC's Thanos Sioulas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Makis Sagriotis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 79th match minute, Akinjalν BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loukas Boublis to maneuver through the defense.
