Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dimitris Katsanikos made the kick off which started today's match. Fivos Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Oquendo in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Rizareio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Oquendo to maneuver through the defense. Akinjalν BC's Fivos Thomas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Akinjalν BC from getting a goal against them. Dimitris Katsanikos took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fivos Thomas. Fivos Thomas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thanos Sioulas in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miltos Mavrofidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petros Karantonis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Renos Pefanis kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Fivos Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasios Kentikelenis in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Dimitris Katsanikos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rizareio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Akinjalν BC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Anastasios Kentikelenis scored to the left of an out of position Fivos Thomas, making the score, 4-0. Rizareio were furious when Petros Karantonis was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 44th minute, one of Rizareio:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rizareio. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Anastasios Kentikelenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fivos Thomas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Oquendo in the 54th minute of play forced Akinjalν BC's goalkeeper Fivos Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nontas Leotsakos kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Anastasios Kentikelenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fivos Thomas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasios Kentikelenis's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Fivos Thomas came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rizareio's Jose Medardo. But to his dismay, Jose Medardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The supporters of Rizareio booed when Akinjalν BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panagiotis Xilouris didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Anastasios Kentikelenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Akinjalν BC defense, Anastasios Kentikelenis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fivos Thomas. The Akinjalν BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fivos Thomas should have stopped the shot. Anastasios Kentikelenis struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Fivos Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rizareio. 84 minutes into the game, Rizareio's Dimitris Katsanikos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fivos Thomas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giannis Tachtsidis during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Akinjalν BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Tachtsidis to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes of play, Rizareio's Anastasios Kentikelenis made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fivos Thomas was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Rizareio were the better team. Rizareio's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
