Spectators: 6200 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Themos Politis got the match started through his kick off. LIONS's Giannis Ifantidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save LIONS from getting a goal against them. LIONS's Giannis Ifantidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nontas Kareklas in the 7th minute of play. With a little luck, LIONS's Giannis Ifantidis got control of the ball when Zinon Samiamidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Tusin's goal looked a bit too open when Themos Politis came free, but Makis Sagriotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filippos Fragopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Giannis Ifantidis made a huge save. Makis Sagriotis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Themos Politis went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Giannis Ifantidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nontas Kareklas in the 17th minute of play. Panos Laganas's late challenge caught a LIONS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panos Laganas helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Tusin got a freekick which was hit by Panos Laganas. 22 minutes into the game, Themos Politis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Makis Sagriotis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 25 minutes of play, Tusin's Zinon Samiamidis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giannis Ifantidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by LIONS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iraklis Alexiadis was slow to take the kick. During this time Tusin's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Tusin's corner Iraklis Alexiadis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Giannis Ifantidis quite easily take care of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Panos Mavilis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, LIONS's goalkeeper Giannis Ifantidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zinon Samiamidis. A collision led to Tusin getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Savas Kipreos hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Lambis Strilakos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Makis Sagriotis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute, Panos Mavilis made a precise shot to the right of Makis Sagriotis. Tusin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nontas Kareklas to strike the kick off in the second half. Giannis Ifantidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinon Samiamidis in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Nontas Kareklas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giannis Ifantidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Zinon Samiamidis struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Giannis Ifantidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tusin. 61 minutes into the game, Apostolis Ioannou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LIONS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tusin the free kick. In the 61st match minute, LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolis Ioannou to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as LIONS's Themos Politis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Makis Sagriotis. That made the score 2-4 after 66 minutes of play. Makis Sagriotis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Themos Politis in the 70th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Themos Politis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIONS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Themos Politis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apostolis Ioannou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Makis Sagriotis having to make a save. Sakis Kyritsis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of LIONS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tusin:s goal. Giannis Ifantidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotiris Stamatis, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Zinon Samiamidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Giannis Ifantidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Zinon Samiamidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tusin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. Makis Sagriotis made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Themos Politis sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Filippos Fragopoulos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giannis Ifantidis. LIONS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filippos Fragopoulos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-4. Tusin were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of LIONS for a fine match.
