Vrasidas Drambas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miltos Mavrofidis having to interfere. During this time GREEK ARMY's players had a chance to rest. GREEK ARMY's Vassilis Lazarakis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miltos Mavrofidis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Vassilis Lazarakis put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Miltos Mavrofidis. Rizareio's Miltos Mavrofidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Lazarakis in the 27th minute of play. Lambis Kazantzakoglou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miltos Mavrofidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rizareio defense, Vassilis Lazarakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miltos Mavrofidis. The Rizareio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miltos Mavrofidis should have stopped the shot. After 36 minutes of play, GREEK ARMY's Lambis Kazantzakoglou made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miltos Mavrofidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miltos Mavrofidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lambis Kazantzakoglou in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Rizareio's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Elssen came free, but Miltos Mavrofidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Vassilis Lazarakis made a precise shot to the right of Miltos Mavrofidis. Rizareio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6.

Miltos Mavrofidis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. When the final whistle sounded GREEK ARMY left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rizareio.
