In the 16th minute Nontas Kareklas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoforos Labellis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoforos Labellis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nontas Kareklas in the 17th minute of play. Alkis Skandalidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tusin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alkis Skandalidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Thanos Tsaousidis's late challenge caught a Tusin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanos Tsaousidis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Thanos Tsaousidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Christoforos Labellis made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Filippos Fragopoulos sent off a good shot on target. Christoforos Labellis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nontas Kareklas, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Nontas Kareklas fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tusin's protests and gave Nontas Kareklas a yellow card for diving instead.
