Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Miltos Spanopoulos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vrasidas Liapakis during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Vrasidas Liapakis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 8 minutes had been played. Tilemachos Vourkos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miltos Spanopoulos went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miltos Spanopoulos got free with Tilemachos Vourkos in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Athenians's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Christodoulos Koutras scored to the left of an out of position Tilemachos Vourkos, making the score, 2-0. Takis Rafailidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giannis Kapopoulos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Takis Rafailidis ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Lakonia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Markos Nikolatos came free, but Giannis Kapopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, The Athenians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Bethanis to maneuver through the defense. Tilemachos Vourkos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christodoulos Koutras, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Miltos Spanopoulos took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tilemachos Vourkos. Tilemachos Vourkos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The throw-in from Markos Manetas in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Athenians's Ilias Sapounopoulos. Giannis Kapopoulos came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by The Athenians's Markos Papanastasis. But to his dismay, Markos Papanastasis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Giannis Kapopoulos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. Takis Rafailidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Kapopoulos having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Markos Nikolatos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giannis Kapopoulos. Markos Nikolatos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. The Athenians's Tilemachos Vourkos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christodoulos Koutras in the 73rd minute of play. Christodoulos Koutras scored 4-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tilemachos Vourkos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd match minute, Lakonia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Manetas to maneuver through the defense. When Christodoulos Koutras came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Lakonia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christodoulos Koutras couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Lakonia FC's zone, Markos Nikolatos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Kapopoulos came out of the goal and Markos Nikolatos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Iosif Serafidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lakonia FC fully deserved thier win.
