Nélson Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukas Alevizos, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Loukas Alevizos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neon Skilitsi BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loukas Alevizos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 minutes of play, B-PED The Academy's Sokratis Mitakos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manolis Valassakos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Menios Stavrinoudakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loukas Alevizos might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nélson Guerra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loukas Alevizos ran back to his position shaking his head. Neon Skilitsi BC's Manolis Valassakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Neon Skilitsi BC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of B-PED The Academy booed when Neon Skilitsi BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Katydis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manolis Valassakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otsando Leis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Omiros Tsiantakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manolis Valassakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sokratis Mitakos made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sokratis Mitakos in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manolis Valassakos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Otsando Leis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Neon Skilitsi BC! Neon Skilitsi BC were furious when Menios Stavrinoudakis was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Neon Skilitsi BC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Chatziioannou Lelopoulos shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a defensive mix-up in Neon Skilitsi BC's zone, Jan Gunnarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manolis Valassakos came out of the goal and Jan Gunnarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th match minute, B-PED The Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matouš Berný to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 92 minutes, Loukas Alevizos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neon Skilitsi BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loukas Alevizos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Neon Skilitsi BC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for B-PED The Academy.
