Loukianos Krassas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Almir Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Eretria booed when Argyroupoli BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thalis Papadakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Giannis Tassoulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Almir Terra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eretria's Almir Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Krassas in the 23rd minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Argyroupoli BC's Loukianos Krassas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Almir Terra was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute, Loukianos Krassas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Loukianos Krassas took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Almir Terra to make any attempt to save it. Eretria's Aimilios Kalokerinos got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Eretria booed when Argyroupoli BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thalis Papadakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argyroupoli BC's Nanak Nasih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vassilis Manesis in the 41st minute of play. Normand Hardin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Almir Terra. Eretria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Loukianos Krassas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almir Terra having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vassilis Manesis to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Argyroupoli BC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Loukianos Krassas hit a great ball. Nanak Nasih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotos Sifakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Aimilios Kalokerinos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Argyroupoli BC booed when Eretria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omiros Kechribaris didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Eretria's Giannis Tassoulis got a free kick in the 78th minute. Almir Terra came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Argyroupoli BC's Loukianos Krassas. But to his dismay, Loukianos Krassas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 94th match minute, Argyroupoli BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionysis Kasimopoulos to maneuver through the defense. The Argyroupoli BC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
