Neon Skilitsi BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loukas Alevizos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manolis Valassakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinos Kostetsos, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Marinos Kostetsos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Neon Skilitsi BC's goalkeeper Manolis Valassakos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Byzantium F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Loukas Alevizos came free, but Tilemachos Tokas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prokopis Stasinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Neon Skilitsi BC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
