The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Kamniα BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotiris Papoutsiadis to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd match minute, Argyroupoli BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionysis Kasimopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Loukas Mantzourakis hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loukianos Krassas in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lakis Borovilos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 38 minutes of play, Kamniα BC's Charilaos Simos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nanak Nasih stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Spyros Steliou's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kamniα BC fully deserved thier win.
