Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vaggelis Antoniou got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Takis Rikkas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iosif Kastanias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Kamniα BC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Antoniou came free, but Lakis Borovilos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Kamniα BC's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Kastanias came free, but Lakis Borovilos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zacharias Vrochidis's late challenge caught a Π.Α.Ο.Κ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacharias Vrochidis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Kamniα BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacharias Vrochidis to maneuver through the defense. Lakis Borovilos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Kastanias in the 41st minute of the match. Π.Α.Ο.Κ's Apostolis Kartsolis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Π.Α.Ο.Κ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyriakos Tsiolis in the 46th minute of play forced Kamniα BC's goalkeeper Lakis Borovilos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lakis Borovilos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theofilos Serpanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Spyros Steliou to make the kick off. Spyros Steliou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Apostolis Kartsolis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theofilos Serpanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute, one of Kamniα BC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kamniα BC. 71 minutes into the game, Π.Α.Ο.Κ's Louis Kastakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lakis Borovilos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kyriakos Tsiolis hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Kamniα BC's Lakis Borovilos got control of the ball when Iosif Kastanias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lakis Borovilos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Antoniou in the 79th minute of the match. Lakis Borovilos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iosif Kastanias in the 83rd minute. Π.Α.Ο.Κ's Apostolis Kartsolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Spyros Steliou in the 88th minute of play. Vaggelis Antoniou was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Π.Α.Ο.Κ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Π.Α.Ο.Κ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Π.Α.Ο.Κ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
