Spectators: 7960 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1860, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Theagenis Velis got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Ολυμπος Αγιασου booed when Kraniá Dheskátis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loukas Stoubos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kraniá Dheskátis's Panos Papageorgiou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Melberg in the 7th minute of play. Panos Papageorgiou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themistoklis Poursaitidis in the 11th minute of the match. Loukianos Papageorgiou hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ολυμπος Αγιασου defense, Theagenis Velis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikos Pegiadis. The Ολυμπος Αγιασου fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikos Pegiadis should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the game, Notis Petimezas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Nikos Pegiadis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 28th minute Themistoklis Poursaitidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Papageorgiou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Ολυμπος Αγιασου's Themistoklis Poursaitidis made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Panos Papageorgiou was left in no man's land by his defense there! Themistoklis Poursaitidis charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Themistoklis Poursaitidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Ολυμπος Αγιασου was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themistoklis Poursaitidis to maneuver through the defense. Panos Papageorgiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sokratis Karnezakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Luís Aparecido reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Panos Papageorgiou. The goal made the score 3-2. Notis Petimezas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Nikos Pegiadis made a huge save. Nikos Pegiadis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loukas Stoubos in the 68th minute. The referee ignored Kraniá Dheskátis's protests and gave Sakis Mamatziolas a yellow card for diving instead. The referee showed Michalis Skordas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th match minute, Ολυμπος Αγιασου was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Karanikas to maneuver through the defense. Nikos Pegiadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theagenis Velis, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
