Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 120) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Saul Irrintzi kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Saul Irrintzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 11th match minute, ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Di Mascio to maneuver through the defense. When ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Emmanouil Kitrinos in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Przemyslaw Karanowski was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Christos Tzolis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christos Tzolis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Kostas Mousios was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 32 played minutes ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Mousios. With a little luck, ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c's Przemyslaw Karanowski got control of the ball when Emmanouil Kitrinos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emmanouil Kitrinos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Przemyslaw Karanowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Przemyslaw Karanowski made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Emmanouil Kitrinos sent off a good shot on target. If Emmanouil Kitrinos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christos Tzolis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Przemyslaw Karanowski having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emmanouil Kitrinos to make the kick off. Paraskevas Panagakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Andrea Di Mascio took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Alkaios Balouris to make any attempt to save it. The ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Emmanouil Kitrinos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Minas Metaxas managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Minas Metaxas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alkaios Balouris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Minas Metaxas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 71 minutes into the match, Emmanouil Kitrinos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Przemyslaw Karanowski. ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emmanouil Kitrinos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Andrea Di Mascio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c's Przemyslaw Karanowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanouil Kitrinos in the 84th minute of play. Valerios Grigoropoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emmanouil Kitrinos in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Przemyslaw Karanowski saved ΝΥΧΤΕΡΙΔΕΣ f.c from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Zinon Nasiakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's zone, Akis Karasavvidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alkaios Balouris came out of the goal and Akis Karasavvidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
