Seahawks V55's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Káto Spílaion the free kick. Sakis Samarakos kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Nikitas Manousaridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolis Kalergis in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Manolis Kalergis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Seahawks V55 fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Seahawks V55's Manolis Kalergis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Nikitas Manousaridis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Roger Holmberg made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Seahawks V55 booed when Káto Spílaion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Thedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Ferdinho Kurt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Manolis Kalergis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikitas Manousaridis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Seahawks V55 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
