After 14 played minutes Káto Spílaion got a freekick which was hit by Ofri Villig. In the 17th minute, Paschalis Papagiannidis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 19 minutes into the match, Káto Spílaion's goal looked a bit too open when Paschalis Papagiannidis came free, but Nikitas Manousaridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Airforce got a freekick which was hit by Stathis Koffidis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paschalis Papagiannidis in the 24th minute of play forced Káto Spílaion's goalkeeper Nikitas Manousaridis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Olof Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zacharias Kelpekis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Olof Thedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Airforce's Aris Vamvoukas got a free kick in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Holmberg in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacharias Kelpekis saved Airforce from getting behind. After 36 minutes, Ferdinho Kurt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Káto Spílaion and the Airforce players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Káto Spílaion's Ferdinho Kurt got a free kick in the 40th minute. Nikitas Manousaridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paschalis Papagiannidis in the 45th minute of the match. Tasos Pispinis hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paschalis Papagiannidis was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Airforce got a freekick which was hit by Aris Vamvoukas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Olof Thedin got free with Zacharias Kelpekis in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Roger Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Káto Spílaion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Holmberg couldn't finish the play. Nikitas Manousaridis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paschalis Papagiannidis in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Airforce's goalkeeper Zacharias Kelpekis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Olof Thedin. Roger Holmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Airforce defense, Per-Olof Thedin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zacharias Kelpekis. The Airforce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zacharias Kelpekis should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Airforce booed when Káto Spílaion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinho Kurt didn't get a good kick on the ball.
