Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1863, VIP seats: 120) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Konstantinos Kavaliaratos got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute Manos Papoutsiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkaios Balouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 played minutes ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ got a freekick which was hit by Christos Tzolis. After 13 minutes of play, P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Lazaros Serdaris made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alkaios Balouris was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute, Manos Papoutsiadis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Alkaios Balouris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazaros Serdaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Aggelos Karaflas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Valerios Grigoropoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Anastasios Politakis made a huge save. Alkaios Balouris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazaros Serdaris in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute of the match, Emmanouil Kitrinos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anastasios Politakis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Panagiotis Lazaratos's late challenge caught a ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panagiotis Lazaratos helped the player get up and apologised. Panagiotis Lazaratos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Anastasios Politakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paraskevas Panagakos in the 31st minute of play. Alkaios Balouris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konstantinos Kavaliaratos went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Alkaios Balouris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manos Papoutsiadis in the 35th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's goal looked a bit too open when Manos Papoutsiadis came free, but Alkaios Balouris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akis Stathakis in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alkaios Balouris saved ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emmanouil Kitrinos to make the kick off. When P.A.O.K. Emmanouil Kitrinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasios Politakis having to interfere. Patras F.C. booed when ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Tzolis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alkaios Balouris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konstantinos Kavaliaratos went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Alkaios Balouris threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Konstantinos Kavaliaratos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Anastasios Politakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanouil Kitrinos in the 83rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s Konstantinos Kavaliaratos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alkaios Balouris. That made the score 0-9 after 86 minutes of play. P.A.O.K. Patras F.C. made a substitution. Giorgos Antonopoulos replaced Akis Stathakis. After a rather tough play, ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Vassilis Seremetis got a free kick in the 90th minute. The long shot by Manos Papoutsiadis in the 91st minute really tested Alkaios Balouris's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Vassilis Seremetis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. In the 97th minute, Vassilis Seremetis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sotiris Panagiotopoulos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alkaios Balouris. ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. P.A.O.K. Patras F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
