Dimosthenis Karotsis helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Lefkopetra FC got a freekick which was hit by Dimosthenis Karotsis. Theodosis Kritikopoulos struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Giannis Tziolis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lefkopetra FC. In the 11th minute, Dimosthenis Karotsis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lefkopetra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave POUTSA FC the free kick. Dimosthenis Karotsis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Giannis Tziolis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Lefkopetra FC booed when POUTSA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charilaos Loukanidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, POUTSA FC's Diogenis Karpouzopoulos got a free kick in the 25th minute. Lefkopetra FC's Iason Stavrakopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-2 became the score in the 33rd minute when Iason Stavrakopoulos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Lefkopetra FC's Theodosis Kritikopoulos got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th match minute, Lefkopetra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thodoris Vogiatzis to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Chatziioannou Dedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Filippos Toris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theodosis Kritikopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. POUTSA FC's Chatziioannou Dedes got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filippos Toris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chatziioannou Dedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Thomas Stratsianis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Marinos Kounalakis in the 73rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Filippos Toris's left hand side. Filippos Toris came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by POUTSA FC's Chatziioannou Dedes. But to his dismay, Chatziioannou Dedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Giannis Tziolis was a little too slow when Iason Stavrakopoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 92nd minute Chatziioannou Dedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippos Toris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dimosthenis Karotsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lefkopetra FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
