In the 30th minute Apostolis Lianopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Vătavu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Νέοι Επιβάτες's Chatziioannou Kaminaris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Νέοι Επιβάτες from getting a goal against them. After 35th play minutes German Palos shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Chatziioannou Kaminaris and just under the crossbar into goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Veniamin Zervoulakis made a kick off. Ilie Juverdeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Apostolis Lianopoulos lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Mihai Vătavu. 67 minutes into the match, Νέοι Επιβάτες's goal looked a bit too open when German Palos came free, but Chatziioannou Kaminaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignatios Tsifoutis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Chatziioannou Kaminaris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chatziioannou Kaminaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Palos in the 75th minute of play. Νέοι Επιβάτες's Chatziioannou Kaminaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Palos in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Νέοι Επιβάτες was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolis Karidas to maneuver through the defense. Chatziioannou Kaminaris came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by A.O ASTERAS SYROY's Ilie Juverdeanu. But to his dismay, Ilie Juverdeanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. There was no doubt that A.O ASTERAS SYROY were the better team. A.O ASTERAS SYROY's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
