Spectators: 8087 (Terracing: 6066, Seating: 1860, VIP seats: 161) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Veniamin Zervoulakis took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in PAOK B's zone, Ilie Juverdeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Ortle came out of the goal and Ilie Juverdeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute, Thomas Tassis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When German Palos came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the A.O ASTERAS SYROY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Palos couldn't finish the play. Thanasis Papaspyrous short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Mihai Vătavu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th match minute, A.O ASTERAS SYROY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilie Juverdeanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match A.O ASTERAS SYROY got a corner. PAOK B's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alketas Kostantelos ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alketas Kostantelos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cecilio Ortle quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the A.O ASTERAS SYROY defense, Thomas Tassis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihai Vătavu. The A.O ASTERAS SYROY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihai Vătavu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Papaspyrou in the 39th minute of play forced A.O ASTERAS SYROY's goalkeeper Mihai Vătavu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. German Palos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cecilio Ortle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thanasis Papaspyrou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. German Palos's late challenge caught a PAOK B's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Palos helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes A.O ASTERAS SYROY got a freekick which was hit by German Palos. With an all-out effort, A.O ASTERAS SYROY's Cecilio Ortle threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from German Palos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, German Palos managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.O ASTERAS SYROY's supporters rose to their feet, but German Palos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Ortle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alketas Kostantelos during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PAOK B booed when A.O ASTERAS SYROY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alketas Kostantelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. PAOK B made a substitution. Prokopis Katsapopoulos replaced Thymios Chatziiakovou. German Palos might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Ortle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. German Palos ran back to his position shaking his head. German Palos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Ortle having to interfere. Veniamin Zervoulakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanasis Papaspyrou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Mihai Vătavu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes A.O ASTERAS SYROY got a freekick which was hit by Veniamin Zervoulakis. The PAOK B players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
