The supporters of Makas FC booed when Nenitoϊria BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christos Symeonakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanos Mantarinidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Thanos Mantarinidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nenitoϊria BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thanos Mantarinidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kostas Fragos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stavros Tripodakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Makas FC's goalkeeper Kostas Fragos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Tasos Soulogiannis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theodosis Sfoliatas. Nenitoϊria BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tasos Soulogiannis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Stavros Tripodakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theodosis Sfoliatas was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 35th minute, Stavros Tripodakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theodosis Sfoliatas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Thanos Mantarinidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orestis Kalpadakis was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thanos Mantarinidis in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kostas Fragos saved Makas FC from getting behind. Stavros Tripodakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanos Mantarinidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Stavros Tripodakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Makas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stavros Tripodakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theodosis Sfoliatas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 80 minutes, Stavros Tripodakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Makas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stavros Tripodakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Nenitoϊria BC's Nasos Stavrinos got a free kick in the 87th minute. Christos Symeonakis hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Menelaos Droumalias from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Theodosis Sfoliatas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 90 played minutes Nenitoϊria BC got a freekick which was hit by Christos Symeonakis. Theodosis Sfoliatas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stavros Tripodakis in the 95th minute of the match.
