Stelios Botilias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Ermis Papageorgakos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Miltos Seichanidis. Ermis Papageorgakos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 38 minutes into the match, Panafpliakos FC's goalkeeper Miltos Seichanidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthimos Minou. Miltos Seichanidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthimos Minou in the 40th minute. A collision led to Panafpliakos FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Stavros Tsakanikas hit a great ball. Anthimos Minous short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Miltos Seichanidis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With an all-out effort, Knights Of Ni's Miltos Seichanidis threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ermis Papageorgakos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Apostolis Iordanis hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Anthimos Minou took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miltos Seichanidis. Miltos Seichanidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Knights Of Ni had won after a very even match.
